How our soaps are made
Our soaps are made by hand using cold process saphonification.
This process combines various fats or oils with a caustic agent such as lye otherwise known as sodium hydroxide along with a catalyst such as water. The lye is activated by the water and when the oils are added a chemical reaction takes place which then turns into soap.
All our soaps are made using all certified organic materials. Coconut, olive, and palm oils. No animal fats or tallows are used.
For the unscented soaps the only scent comes from the organic herbs used and is very slight if detectable at all making them perfect for those with scent allergies.
For scented soaps I use only pure essential oils not fragrance oils.
Other ingredients used are organic local raw honey and organic goats milk.
